So two days ago I was in the kitchen making a gourmet dinner of waffles and Brent was in the backyard playing with the girls when disaster struck. Laura went to run up our back steps and missed the first stair. She went face first into the other stairs and cut her mouth and scraped her face up as you can see from the picture. After we got her mouth to stop bleeding and got her calmed down with a popsicle and bandaids on other non-injured body parts she's been ok. We're keeping it covered with neosporin but it keeps looking worse each day. Hopefully tomorrow she'll stop looking like and abused child! Also tonight Eden has been sick with a nasty stomach bug, interupting Brent and my date. It's been a rough couple of days, and speaking of which has anyone noticed that Ellen is the only one without some sort of familial injury? Or does she still get covered with Mom and Dad?

Morgan County Fair
So today we loaded our little girls up and took them to the county fair to see the Four H animals. When we told Laura we were going, she somehow translated into an outing to the Fair-y Castle. It took a little bit of explaining and even then she decided to call it a 'Care'. But eventually we made to the actual 'fair' and we saw the cute chickens, the very big pigs, Laura is perfecting her oink, the smelly cows and, of course, the fuzzy sheep. The girls loved that they could actually pet them. Eden was bouncing all around and squealing at them. I think they were a little annoyed. Anyway, we didn't stay for the whole day, but we had a great time.

Laura's Birthday
So unfortunately for Laura her birthday was on the 19th, the day before we moved. So although she didn't get a cake, or many visitors (she is having a little party this Sat.), I did venture out and take her and Eden to the Treehouse Children's Museum in Ogden. We went there for Eden's birthday too, and this time they had even more fun. Her favorite activites were the play kitchen and the Doctor's office. Here she is reading a very interesting X-ray.
Day 3 and the beds are up!

We made it, we're home

Yes, we moved into our new house today, and boy was it a long day. I do not like moving. Brent really does not like moving. But we had some great help from our neighbors, Stacy and Frank, and Rita and Aaron. Thank you, Thank you! Also we definitely could not have gotten over here without Brent's sisters, Lexi, Lesha, and Lanna. Also Scott was our awesome box-mover-inner. We are so grateful for all your help. I'll post more pictures soon, but just so you know, we already love it here.
