We're buying a house!

We are so excited, we are buying a house! The house is here in Clearfield, about two miles from Brent's work, and a great little house for our family. It was built in 2000, is 1800 square feet, 4 bedrooms, and beautiful inside. We're set to close by the 1st of August, and will be moving that first week. I am really excited to be moving out of our main floor/basement apartment, and moving in somewhere semi-permanent with big windows and lots of light. Here are a few pictures, of the front, front room, master bedroom, kitchen, and neighborhood.

4 years

Brent and I were able to take a little vacation this week without our little ones. Brent had a business trip in California so Grandma and Grandpa Tew were wonderful and watched Laura and Eden. We stayed in a very nice hotel, played on the beach, went to Cheesecake Factory, and basically had a fantastic time!

Strawberries at Grandma's

This week while Brent and I were in California Laura and Eden stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Tew. Apparently they had a great time in the strawberries. Laura helped Grandma stem some, but ate all of the ones that looked 'clean'.

Also on the agenda was painting, playing outside on the swingset and in the sandbox, swimming in the blow up pool, and pretending to take naps. The girls are so lucky to have wonderful grandparents.

I just like roses. hint, hint Brent

Can you believe how they grow

This is a picture that Grandma Martha took of Laura when she was just 9 months old! Look at those wrists!

Happy Daddy's Day!

I really am grateful for Brent. He loves his little girls, he would do anything for them, and they can tell. Laura and Eden get so excited when he comes home from work, and he is their absolute favorite jungle gym. Not only will Brent help with the dishes, he comes home a little early from work every Tuesday and plays with the girls while I teach lessons and then puts them to bed while I'm at Young Womens. He is a wonderful husband and father. Every day I ask myself why I'm so luckly to have him be my best friend.

Eden turns One

Eden turned one the beginning of May (yes I know it's been a little while, but my internet is still snail paced). Anyway, she is such a sweet little girl, she has bright blue eyes like her Mommy, Grandma Martha, and Great Grandma Ruby. She loves to give hugs and pretend to be kitties with Laura. Eden also loves putting things together, climbing on anything that will hold still, and thinks she's a fish at the swimming pool- she gets extremely irritated that we have to hold on to her! For her birthday we went to the children's museum and had a great time. Among other things, Eden loved to play with the blocks and climb through the tunnel.
